¶ Ignition wiring diagram example
Find below an example of how to connect a 4-cylinder engine ignition system using a wasted spark coilpack, 4 individual coilpacks firing sequentially, or 4 individual coilpacks firing in wasted COP (paired).
Below you can see an example of a 1-3-4-2 engine configured on RM-Tuner.
The black ticks show the ignition channels configurated for sequential, if you ALSO mark the red ticks your engine will be configured for Wasted COP.
For Sequential ignition, you will need a CAM position signal or the main trigger running at CAM speed.
